Important information – US import duty on goods from Israel.
Dear customers,
We inform you of an important change that directly affects all shipments from Israel to the USA.
Effective August 29, 2025, the US government has imposed an import duty of 15% on all goods originating in Israel, regardless of their value. This tariff is part of the updated US trade policy and was officially published by the White House: link
According to the notification of the EMS shipping company (the export division of Israel Post), this duty must be paid in advance by the exporter upon shipment. EMS collects 15% customs duty on behalf of US customs, and without this prepayment, parcels will not be allowed into the US. In addition, EMS charges a small processing fee for each order of 10 shekels + VAT for each shipment.
Due to this, we are forced to include this duty in the final price of the product for customers from the USA.
Understanding that this is an additional burden for our customers, we have decided to take on part of the costs ourselves. Instead of the full 15% duty, we will only add 10% to the cost of the product, and the remaining 5% and handling fee (10 shekels + VAT) will be covered ourselves.
Please note:
- This is not an additional fee of our company.
- This is a mandatory US customs duty collected through EMS.
- The funds are directly transferred to US customs in an official manner.
We understand that this change may cause inconvenience, and we want to assure you that our company remains committed to the principles of transparency, reliability and high quality service. Despite the new rules, we continue to do everything possible to ensure timely and smooth delivery.
